The Piece
The peace earrings are crafted from pieces of the Robben Island prison fence. One earring is a single raw bar, and the other is a copy of the fence in pure metals silver or gold. Every piece is unique. Each piece is hand-cut and then sealed in a liquid laminate to ensure the fence no longer rusts.
