The Glory Ring is a symbol of Women being the Crown of Creation and the bearers of life. This range focuses on Women (and children) being at risk in society, especially in South Africa.
In some of the variations, we have used diamonds that have been repurposed from previous luxury collections going through a melting process. The diamonds are a collection of commercial quality, ranging in colour from I/J to K/LM and clarity of VS2 – SI3.
Metals can always be melted down, but diamonds always remain and stand the test of time. We love the symbolism that a ring that is discarded, melted down to receive payment for, can always be used again.
Much like we are doing with the Robben Island Prison fence.
Women in South Africa live in fear, we have one of the highest domestic violence and rape statistics in the world.
