A Three pendant light installation
Inspired by Ecclesiastes 4 v 12:
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
Created from the original prison fencing from Robben Island.
The three squares symbolise the prison cells the political prisoners were held in, on Robben Island. Nelson Mandela did not serve his sentence alone, but together with his comrades. They were UnBreakable!
Legacy Collection upcycles this iconic fencing into chandeliers, jewellery and framed art, always holding a message of hope and reconciliation.
